Nach den eleganten und ausgewogenen Chasselas der letzten Jahre mit einem wetterbedingten Dämpfer im Jahrgang 2021 konnten die Schweizer Winzer einen sehr erfreulichen Jahrgang 2022 verbuchen. Mit grossem Engagement stellten sie ihre Weine beim Mondial du Chasselas 2023 an. Die Top-Crus des Jahres 2023 konnten die VINUM-Leserinnen und -Leser Ende September in Zürich verkosten.

Die bestbewerteten Weine in der Hauptkategorie stammen alle aus den Jahrgängen 2022 und 2021. Die Weine aus beiden Jahrgängen überzeugen mit Zug und Finesse, vor allem aber mit einer subtil an-mutenden Mineralität.
Spezialitäten und gereifte Jahrgänge
Nicht erst seit diesem Jahr gehören gereifte Chasselas zu den Highlights des Wettbewerbs. Mehr und mehr wird das hervorragende Reifepotenzial der beliebten Schweizer Rebsorte geschätzt, die mit Reife ein ganz neues Geschmacksprofil zeigt. Die Spezialitäten punkten mit einer ausbalancierten Würzigkeit und eigenständigem Charakter.
